About Me

Hello, I'm Julie Hurst, a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor with a BA (Hons) Degree in Person-Centred Counselling and over 10 years' experience supporting adults through life's challenges.

Throughout my career, I have worked with people experiencing trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, and the effects of abuse, providing a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where they feel heard, understood, and supported.

As a registered individual member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework, ensuring that every client is treated with respect, empathy, and professionalism.

I previously ran my own successful private practice before joining an online counselling service, where I have continued to support clients from a wide range of backgrounds. My approach is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and positive change when they are given the right support and a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Many of my clients have shared positive feedback about their counselling journey, describing our work together as having helped them gain clarity, confidence, and hope for the future. It is a privilege to walk alongside people as they navigate difficult times and move towards a more fulfilling life.

If you are looking for a counsellor who will listen without judgement and support you at your own pace, I would be honoured to work with you.
